Beaver Section Profile

Scouting Ireland have established the following Scouting Aims for use in the scouting sections. These aims are to encourage the physical, intellectual, character, emotional, social and spiritual development of youth people so that they may achieve their full potential and, as responsible citizens, to improve society.

The Beaver Section has been established for over 15 years and its commitment to the youth of South Lucan and guiding them in the established scouting methods of Scouting Ireland, such as holding log chews (meetings with the beavers), awarding badges for completion of tasks and helping the beavers plan events is as strong today as it was when our predecessors started the beaver section.
